The panelists included training and IT executives from the large corporations already implementing Second Life who shared their experience, industry analysts who shared their outlook on Second Life development and how it is changing training landscape, university professors who shared initial results of their research in Second Life, and Linden Lab management (in alphabetic order):

  • Philippe Barreaud, Chief Enterprise Architect / IT at Michelin, France
  • Erica Driver, Principal at ThinkBalm, former Principal Analyst at Forrester Research
  • Glenn Fisher, Director of Business Programs, Linden Lab
  • Ben Lorica, PhD, Senior Analyst in the Market Research Group at O’Reilley Media
  • Anne P. Massey, PhD, Dean's Research Professor, Kelley School of Business, Indiana University
  • Mitzi M. Montoya, PhD, North Carolina State University, Business Management Department
  • Suzan Raycroft, Internet Channel Lead on the Global Recruitment Marketing Team at Accenture
  • Dolf Wittkamper, Business Director, Philips
  • Gary Woodill, Ed.D., Director of Research and Analysis, Brandon Hall Research
The event was moderated by Alex Heiphetz, PhD, CEO of AHG, Inc.

Participants received unique access to high-level professionals with experience in Second Life implementation and invaluable data especially important to enterprise managers contemplating expanding their training program to include virtual worlds and simulations.

The audio recording of the event (mp3 file or audio CD) is now available as a part of course materials with any of the Executive Track Second Life In Corporate Environment training courses.
