Immersive Communication Training System is designed to work on Second Life platform,
with all data being kept in the back-end database, which can be hosted on our servers or
on your network behind the firewall. The web-based interface allows you to design
and update simulation scenario and branching story behind it,
as well as review simulation results.
The simulation features include:
- Ability to use several characters in your scenario, that appear in turn
during the simulation
- Ability to define simulation flow through web-based graphical user interface
- Ability to specify characters replies, gestures and actions
- You can use custom animations that are uniquely suited for your situation
- Characters can use voice communication, text communication, or both
- Customized virtual environment
Web-based interface features include:
- Password-protected access
- Graphical user interface to design and update simulation:
- Ability to create simulation flow by dragging and
dropping containers representing characters, character actions, dialogs
and replies and connecting them with the arrows
- Ability to disconnect and re-arrange containers, replace one container
with another
- Enter, review and update simulation data (dialog and reply text,
character actions) by double-clicking on appropriate building
block / container and entering data in pop-up window
- Provides easy visualization of the entire simulation flow not
available with the other tools
- Ability for trainee to receive immediate feedback after simulation
is completed, review his results at a later date
- Ability for training administrator to review simulation results
