Immersive Communication Training System (ICTS) ver.2.1 :: Hosted vs. Purchased Solution

Hosted Solution. Hosted solution is a good way to test how Second Life simulations fit in your training program without committing major up-front investments and resources. It allows you to create a small pilot project, run it on a group of trainees and evaluate results making decision on how do you want to proceed with a full-scale project.
    Hosted solution includes:
  • Ability to create one simulation with up to three robotic avatars
  • Hosting of your simulation data and results on our servers (this is network separate from Second Life)
  • Your private area on Education Island in Second Life to host simulation (this is optional - if you have your location in Second Life you can create simulation at your location)
  • Password-protected web interface
  • Ability to create and update simulation using graphical web-based interface
  • Ability to review simulation results
  • Six months of usage included -- no monthly fees! (after initial six months monthly fee is US$200/month)
  • Up to six hours of technical support per month
Currently hosted solution is available at the introductory rate of US$5,500. If you purchase hosted ICTS and at the end of six-month period you decide to proceed with the purchased solution, the hosted solution fee will be counted towards the project cost.

Purchased Solution. Purchased full-scale solution gives you ability to create any number of simulations with different scenarios / robotic avatars / locations. We will install robotic avatar engine and web interface on your network and will connect it to your back-end database or, optionally, LMS. We can also assist you with creating custom environments and characters for the simulations.
